Terms & Conditions of Service
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of services by **Shree Shyam Logistic Packers and Movers** to you (the Client). By confirming a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Quotation and Booking
- **Quote Validity:** All quotes provided are based on the inventory and service details provided by the Client and are valid for a period of **15 days** from the date of issue.
- **Inventory Changes:** Any changes to the inventory, service type, or addresses after the quote is accepted may result in a revised price. The Client must notify us of changes at least **48 hours** before the scheduled move.
- **Confirmation:** A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a **minimum booking advance/deposit**, as specified in the quotation.
2. Payment Policy
- **Advance Payment:** The required advance payment must be made to secure the date and team.
- **Balance Payment:** The remaining balance of the moving charges must be paid **in full before the unloading of goods** commences at the destination address.
- **Payment Methods:** We accept cash, online bank transfers, and UPI. Cheques are not accepted for the balance amount unless explicitly agreed upon in advance.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- **Cancellation by Client:**
- Cancellations made **more than 7 days** before the scheduled move date will be eligible for a **50% refund** of the advance deposit.
- Cancellations made **less than 7 days** before the scheduled move date will result in the **forfeiture of the entire advance deposit**.
- **Rescheduling:** Rescheduling requests must be made at least **72 hours** in advance and are subject to availability. A small fee may apply for last-minute changes.
4. Insurance and Liability
- **Transit Insurance:** Basic carrier liability is included in the service cost. Comprehensive **All-Risk Transit Insurance** is an optional service and must be requested by the Client prior to booking. The premium for this insurance is paid separately by the Client.
- **Declaration of Value:** The Client is responsible for providing an accurate declaration of value for all goods being transported if purchasing All-Risk insurance.
- **Exclusions:** We are not liable for:
- Damage to goods packed by the Client (self-packed items).
- Damage caused by acts of God, war, riot, or natural disasters.
- **Claim Procedure:** Any claims for loss or damage must be reported in writing to Shree Shyam Logistic within **48 hours** of delivery.
5. Client Responsibilities
- **Prohibited Items:** The Client must not include illegal, stolen, dangerous, explosive, flammable, or perishable goods in the consignment. The Client is solely responsible for any penalty or loss arising from the transport of such items.
- **Accessibility:** The Client must ensure legal access is available for our vehicles and personnel at both the pickup and delivery locations. Waiting time due to restricted access may incur extra charges.
6. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in **Hyderabad, Telangana**.
